Giving to Us
To do all we believe God is calling us to this year, we have set a budget of just over £540,000. Last year over 95% of our income came through faithful giving from the congregation (inclusive of Gift Aid). Our regular giving helps us to budget. This is the amount pledged and paid regularly (usually monthly) by members of the congregation who are able to help in this way. If you would like to be one of those who give towards our vision then consider setting up a standing order to the following bank account details; alternatively think about making a one off donation.
Bank Account Name: All Saints Church
Account No: 30100463
Did you know that the Inland Revenue will add 25p to every £1 that you give to All Saints Church? This increases the value of your gift by a quarter at no cost to yourself.
Am I eligible for Gift Aid? If you are a UK tax payer then yes, you are eligible. This applies to income tax and capital gains tax at any rate. You just have to have paid enough tax to cover the amount we reclaim from the Inland Revenue within the current taxable year.
Do I have to give donations regularly? No you do not need to give regularly. It can be a one off gift, direct debit or a standing order set up. One single Gift Aid declaration can apply to all donations you have made in the past four years and to all future donations you make.
How does Gift Aid Work? Gift Aid is surprisingly easy to use. Once you give us permission to claim gift aid on your donation, we can then claim the tax back on the donation you have made. What this means is that your £10 donation will be worth £12.50 to All Saints Church.
Gift Aid can apply to donations of any amount, large or small, by cash, cheque, postal order or standing order. We just need to know the donation is from you, so please be sure to include your name and postcode with any cash donation.
How do I get started? It’s quite simple, all you have to do is give the church a simple Gift Aid declaration. Just print and complete this form and post it to the Church Office, hand it in to the Welcome team or put it in the collection basket at church.
